India has fought its First War of Independence in the year 1857 against the British Crown. After that India has been denied of any weapons for its citizens. India got defeated by the British with the help of few Indian princes. So for quite long long time India could not rise its voice or sword against the British. However during the First World War a few die hard patriots and revolutionaries tried bringing in a change in the loyalty of Britis h India soldiers and tried for an attack on the British Crown. The great warriors are Ghadrites. However again with the support of loyal indians the revolutionaries plans were leaked and a hunt for the revolutionaries was carried thoughout India. In those circumstances most of these revolutionaries took asylum in South East Asian countries. Those revolutionaries who settled in China, Japan, Malaysia and many other south east asian settlements were waiting for an opportunity to strike back. These revolutionaries were very old when the second world war broke out. When Japan declared war on Britain on the historical 8th December 1941, the first ones to rejoice were the Indian revolutionaries in exile. The waiting in exile gave them another wonderful opportunity to strike on the British and win freedom. Within no time they started gathering their energies to organize India Independence Movement under an organization called India Independece League. A few of the prominent ones are - Rash Behari Bose settled in Japan
- Baba Amar Singh settled in Thailand
- Baba Osman Khan in Shanghai
- Giani Pritam Singh groomed by Baba Amar Singh

Baba Osman Khan circulated a newspaper and actively tried propagating the concept of freedom among the British Indian Forces. Swami Satyanand Puri a disciple of Rabindranathe Tagore open Thai Bharat Cultural Lodge for freedom movement. Baba Amar Singh formed India Independence League on the same day Japan declared war on Britain i.e 8th December 1941. Swami Satyanand Puri converted his Cultural Lodge into India Independence League within 24 hours of IIL formation. Giani Pritam Singh along with the Japanese Major Fujiwara and other Japanese officials talked to the surrendered British Indian Soldiers to form the Indian National Army for the liberation of India from the British yoke. Thus born the Indian Nationa Army on 10th December 1941 when Giani Pritam Singh and Major Fujiwar talked to Captain Mohan Singh in the jungles of Jitra. The Indian Nation Army thus formed under the commandership of Captain Mohan Singh is called First INA and it was subsequently considered to be disbanded after the arrest of Captain Mohan Singh on 29th December 1942 due to some mis understandings between Japanese forces and Indian National Army. However old revolutionary Rash Behari Bose tried revising the India Independence League and Indian National Army till the great leader Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose's arrival. After Netaji arrived in Japan and subsequently in Singapore Indian National Army was again revived and it is called Second INA. It fought till the end of the war.
